SBA Networking Lunch - Saturn Cafe

Join us at Saturn Cafe for business networking and lunch.  Saturn Café offers traditional American diner comfort food with a healthy twist, with all the salty, sweet yumminess people love, but prepared in a health-conscious manner.  

Conveniently located near the downtown Berkeley BART station, the Cafe offers a large private room, the "Space Lounge" where we will gather for our lunch.  Saturn's owners are committed to progressive business practices which value diversity and are environmentally sustainable, socially responsible, and community-oriented.

SPEAKER: Rebecca A. Bailin (highintegritytax.wordpress.com) is a tax professional specializing in serving the socially responsible, LGBT, self-employed/small business and spiritual communities.  She has served clients as a socially responsible investment adviser who prides herself on cutting through the hype and mystery of personal finance. Rebecca is also an entrepreneur and ran her own small business (a consulting practice) for over 15 years. In her talk, she will address the following fundamental questions: 1) What should be at the top of your mind about taxes if you’re self-employed? 2) What tax info. should you always keep in your head? 3) What are the most frequent mistakes in thinking that are made by the self-employed? This brief presentation will “net it out” and provide you with a few key take-aways.
